I wasn't really well for a lot of 2008 and am still getting better so haven't made as much work as planned, or been in touch with people as much as I should.

I am currently working on some ideas that will produce non-functional pieces and am taking lots of photos and doing some paintings. I will put pictures up soon.

One huge piece of news is that I currently have work in Le Bon Marche Rive Gauche, Paris. I have a contract to supply my glasses to them for 6 months or so. Really quite exciting to be in Europe already. smile))

Anyway, best get back to the studio.

Three or four new pieces have made it out of the studio but I am still making the Memory shots and tumblers like mad.

I had the pleaseure recently of being awarded the Patrons and Angels Prize at the Recent Graduate show, New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham. What a huge surprise that was!!

With 4 exhibitions this month it has been quite hectic. I have been making all summer and am about to deliver the last of the orders. I have had more failures than anticipated which has set me back but at least I have worked out what happened.

I really want to try some new ideas in the next few weeks so watch this space for progress reports.

Well - New Designers is over already!
It was certainly a busy week with everything coming together in the end. The big platter (above) worked well - which was a relief.
I am having to get used to is the amount of interest that was expressed about my work - what a great feeling.smile))
I am now busy getting ready for Glass Echoes in August (2nd til 8th - see calendar) as well as starting to develop a series of new pieces.
